Our faculty was officially established by the Council of Ministers on April 29, 2013, in accordance with Article 30 (Additional) of Law No. 2809, dated March 28, 1983, and the decision was published in the Official Gazette No. 28363 on May 31, 2013, under Decision No. 2013/4716.

The Department of Plant Protection within our faculty plans to begin admitting students in the 2025–2026 academic year.
