MISSION
We aim to conduct research focused on developing and disseminating knowledge and technologies to address plant protection issues at both national and international levels. Additionally, we strive to educate competent plant protection specialists capable of generating effective solutions in the field.
Our department pursues this mission through two main divisions: the Department of Entomology, which includes the disciplines of Acarology, Nematology, and Applied Entomology; and the Department of Phytopathology, comprising Bacteriology, Herbology, Mycology, and Virology.
VISION
With a modern and high-quality educational approach, we aim to become a continuously evolving and improving department that offers solutions to plant protection problems at regional and national levels, while also producing and sharing scientific knowledge on an international scale. Our goal is to train Agricultural Engineers who are environmentally and agriculturally conscious, equipped with contemporary problem-solving skills, and capable of practicing their profession not only within the country but also globally.
